Presenters – Free conference pass
*Financial members of IMUN must pay a membership of $500 as part of the booking process – this will give their organisation membership until the 31/03/2026.

The IMUN Conference rate for a run of house room inclusive of breakfast for one is $269 inc GST per night. Bookings must be made and paid with your registration. Guests will need to provide a credit card at check-in to cover any incidentals.
Planning your stay
To assist with your travel arrangements, we recommend you book and stay Monday 22 September so you can be there for the opening of the conference at 8:30am. The Conference registration is will be open from 7:30am on Tuesday 23 September. The final conference session concludes at 3:30pm on Wednesday 24 September.
Transport
Getting to QT Gold Coast
The Gold Coast Airport is located 30km (approx 60 minutes) south of QT Gold Coast.
The Brisbane International & Domestic Airport is 85.km (approx 90 minute drive) north.
IMUN conference delegates are responsible for organising their own travel to – and from – the airport to the QT Hotel.
Airport Transfers

Train
(only available from Brisbane Airport):
At Brisbane Airport board the Airtrain which is located outside the Arrivals Hall at both the Domestic and International Airports.
Travel to Helensvale station (approximately 1hr 30mins).
From Helensvale station you take the light rail to Surfers Paradise North Station (approx. 30 minutes).
Travel time is 30 minutes and QT Gold Coast is just a 2 minute walk from the station.
Bus & Light Rail
(only available from Gold Coast Airport)
At Gold Coast Airport board the 777 bus at the southern end of the domestic terminal.
Travel to Broadbeach South Station (approx. 30 minutes). From here you take the light rail to Surfers Paradise North Station (approx. 15 minutes).
Taxi
From the Gold Coast Airport the travel time is approx 60 minutes and will cost approx. $60-$75.
From Brisbane Airport the travel time is approx 90 minutes. A taxi from Brisbane Airport will cost between $200-$250 or more.
Chauffer Service
You may prefer to book a car to meet your flight. In peak traffic times this may be cheaper than a taxi. It is also a good option if travelling in a small group and with light luggage.
Parking at the Hotel
Undercover self-parking is available for $6.00/hour (max $30/day) for all conference delegates.
