The IMUN Conference rate for a Mountain River View King room is $189 per night (room only). Bookings must be made and paid with your registration.
Check in is open from 2pm Tuesday October 22nd
Planning your stay
We recommend you book and stay Tuesday 22 October so you can join your colleagues at the Welcome Reception in the QT Lobby from 5:30-7:30pm.
The Conference registration and breakfast is open from 7:00am on Wednesday 23 October and the Conference commences at 8:30am.
The final conference session concludes at 3:30pm on Thursday 24 October and a free airport transfer will take guests to Gold Coast Airport departing at 3:45pm sharp.
Guests travelling to Brisbane Airport will need to make their own travel arrangements.
Transport
Getting to QT Gold Coast
The Gold Coast Airport is located 30km (approx 45 minutes) south of QT Gold Coast.
The Brisbane International & Domestic Airport is 85.km (approx 1hour 30 minute drive) north.
IMUN conference delegates will need to make their own way to the hotel.
IMUN will provide a complimentary coach transfer for all conference delegates from QT Gold Coast to Gold Coast Airports, departing at 3.45pm sharp on Thursday 24 October.
You will be asked to reserve a seat at our Registration Desk when you arrive at the conference.
Airport Shuttle
These are convenient options as they meet all arriving flights and drop you right to the hotel.
The Gold Coast SkyBus is $38 one way and travel time is approx 1 hour and 10 minutes. You can purchase your ticket at the booth inside the terminal or online at www.skybus.com.au
Con-X-Ion offers Gold Coast and Brisbane Airport shuttle services.
The Gold Coast Service is $22 one way and travel time is approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes.
The Brisbane Airport shuttle service is $54.00 one way and travel time is approx 1 hour 30 minutes. For this service you must pre-book your seat online at www.con-x-ion.com or by calling Con-X-ion on 1300 901 587.
Train
(only available from Brisbane Airport):
At Brisbane Airport board the Airtrain which is located outside the Arrivals Hall at both the Domestic and International Airports.
Travel to Helensvale station (approximately 1hr 40mins). The fare is approx AUD$35 each way.
From Helensvale station you take the light rail to the Surfers Paradise North Station.
Travel time is 30 minutes and QT Gold Coast is just 2 minutes walk from the station.
The fare is approx $5.00.
Taxi
From the Gold Coast Airport the fare will be approx AUD$85 and travel time is approx 45 minutes.
From Brisbane Airport the fare will be approx AUD $240-270 and travel time is approx 1 hour 30 minutes.
Limousine Transfer
You may prefer to book a car to meet your flight. In peak traffic times this may be cheaper than a taxi. It is also a good option if travelling in a small group and with light luggage.
A limousine from the Gold Coast Airport will be AUD$85 one way and travel time is approx 45 minutes.
A limousine from from Brisbane Airport will be AUD$200 and travel time is approx 1 hour 30 minutes. A local company is Aries Queensland on +61 7 5594 9193 or you can do a Google search to find your preferred provider.
Parking at the Hotel
Undercover self-parking is available for $8.00/day for all conference delegates. Valet parking is available at $15/day.
